wow, time really FLIES FLIES FLIES!
i've only got 1 wk, or 7 days left in sg b4 i'm going down under. i haven't embarked on any hw or assignment tasks yet...the thot of it is alr giving me a headache. time to get my engine started after today...haha :)
i can feel myself piling on the kilos alr...this shows how LIMITED my menu is in syd...haiz...haha, let's see what nice foody i've had so far...there was: claypot rice, hainanese mixed rice, hokkien mee, tau suan, tang yuan, korean food, soon kueh, chee cheong fun, prawn mee, tons of jap sushi (sakae promotion juz ended yst...haha), kueh tu tu, waffles, fish soup, dim sum. tt's abt all i can rmb so far...there's still some more to go, next up is: kweh chap, teochew porridge, satay, indian curry & naan, lor mee...haha, the list can juz go on...it's juz so exciting to talk abt food...haha...
sakae was having their 9th yr anniversary promotion up till yst...and i only found out on fri, the day b4 it ended!! i can take comfort in better late than nv. so on fri, me, ck & den had sakae @ marina sq for lunch. haha...we were trying to catch the shuttle bus to town from marina sq when it suddenly struck us tt there was a sakae outlet at marina sq too!! haha...and aftward, when fel came to join us, we went back to the SAME outlet for dinner!! lol, the cashier recognised us when we paid our 2nd bill...haha...we're loyal sakae customers!! haha...
yst, it was sakae for dinner once more!! lol...this time, we 4 went to sakae @ wheellock instead. the queue was super long...and it was moving at snail's pace...but being smart beings (as usual), we managed to get in front of the other ppl. we asked for 2 tables for 2 ppl, and by a stroke of luck, we managed to find seats next to each other. it was super funny cos we tried to communicate with each other while keeping up the front tt we were strangers to the waiters...haha...we had a satisfying dinner...loads of salmon sashimi, yum yum...we've all become salmon sashimi freaks now...i'm overloaded with sushi now...think i'll keep off sushi for the next few days to come...haha...
me & fel stayed over at den's house aft tt...we stayed up till pretty late juz chatting away...everyone taking turns to fall in and out of the sleeping and awakening phase. it feels like jc once more...haiz...juz makes it harder for me to go back. holidays always end too quickly!!!
taka's having their annual mooncake festival exhibition again...i dunno if i ought to be happy abt it or not...haha...i love going there to sample their snowskin mooncakes, despite it being cut into MINUTE pieces for sampling. cheapskate sg spirit will not be deterred by such tactics...haha...i esp like the wine-flavoured and choc ones. though i'm not intending to buy any...high calorific level...can't let myself gain more weight than i alr have...ppl always seem to gain weight when they go overseas, i think i gain more weight in sg!! i'm juz one of my kind i guess, lol :)
