    dreams

dreams are part of my sleep every night; it's been years since i've had a dreamless sleep. most of the time, i can't remember the dream after i get up. maybe tt's why i'm so fascinated with dreaming. it's seems there's a hidden message, it's trying to tell me something. but i've never been able to figure it out...haha

i had this dream tt night, which i can still surprising remember. in it, i was reliving a scene that i experienced before, somewhat like history repeating itself, except that i knew the events that should be occuring. i wanted the events that should occur to happen, so i jus waited and played by ear, anticipating. somehow, things turned out differently from what was supposed to, what i was looking forward to. i felt kinda disappointed in the dream...haha...aft thinking for so many days, the only conclusion i've arrived at is: ignorance is bliss. maybe it's cos of my knowledge of the future that changed the present dream scenario...hmm...it's not good to know too much? perhaps. but impt thing is, there was sth special in this dream. sth i really wanted. i'm hoping to come across it soon...

dreams are said to be the opposite of reality; and you gotta infer their meaning...i should pursue a degree in dream translation...

i'm really amazed how i survived the never-ending hours of nj. i'm alr feeling burnt out with my current schedule; i must have had a hell load of stamina to last in the past. so ya, i've given myself this weekend off, a self-imposed holiday to reward myself for studying so hard. ok, maybe not study tt hard, but for working so hard and been so busy the whole wk. haha...

work's been keeping me pretty busy, plus playing mahjong and cards on and off, watching shows...there's not enough time to do other stuff. went to play some badminton & squash on wed. i'm really out of shape & practice. maybe it's cos i haven't been playing much games, i really miss using a racket...hopefully i'll be able to drag them out to play with me sometime soon...

had a few unpleasant moments with my mum over the phone recently. i understand where she's coming from, but she's so unresponsive and stubborn, i can't help losing my cool when i talk to her about it, about moving out and getting a car. this sucks, i can't stand her getting so over-protective and one-sided in her thinking. what muz i do to wash her brain?!

tmr i'll be going down with a few of the others for a blood donation. it's an all girls' outing. the guys all lack the calling for this. no comments there...

i'm having insomnia now...having trouble sleeping these few days, always up very early; earlier than the sun tdy evn. there's too much stuff i wanna do i guess...anyway, wk 4's almost over, easter hols are just round the corner.

haven't had much time to come online. seems as though there're lots of nitty gritty stuff to settle. i can finally take a breather now.

changi airport, the day i left sg. i made a huge boo-boo and ended up on a wild goose chase before departure. my luggage was very much lighter than i expected it to be, so at the check-in counter, i checked in my hand-carrier bag to lighten my load up the plane. but silly me not only did not lock my hand-carrier, i left some my wallet and some cash inside. so it's blatantly open for anyone to steal! the airport staff were a un-coordinated trying to retrieve my luggage for me, i went to the arrival hall's lost & found section, only to have them direct me to the aircraft itself to get my wallet back. a wild-goose chase. sad thing is, i din get a chance to say a proper goodbye to my family & to ck & fel who came to see me off...

the plane ride was one of the worst i ever had. the entire journey i felt like puking, and the guy sitting next to me tried to make small talk with me thruout the whole journey which made me feel pretty bad cos i had to ignore him and pretend to be asleep all the while. worst still, i had absolute zero appetite-no alcohol for me!! of all the previous times when i took QA i was fine & fit; now tt i'm flying SQ, i had to be sick. throughout the whole trip, i juz kept wishing for the time to fly by & the plane to land; no appetite for food nor movies! such a tragic situation...at the arrival airport, the declarations queue was horrendously long. in their haste to clear the crowds, the customs officer let me pass thru quickly after questioning me abt meat & poultry. whew there!

anyway, back in sydney and in my new room. it feels like a hotel compared to what i used to live in!! my own bathroom(though it's shared with another malaysian girl), fridge, wardrobe, balcony...luxurious suite!! hahaha...i shifted the furniture around a little bit, bought my own tv though i need to get the antenna's soon for clearer vision. the initial few days were nice & cool, but it grew hot towards the weekend and now it's back to the chilly breezes.

last wed was terrible. the fever came back the night before and i had no energy to get out of my room. thank goodness for my neighbour, seeing the terrible state i was in, she offered to cook me porridge. my saviour!! aft her porridge, it injected some energy back into me which managed to kick me to go for lectures. i juz finised my 3rd round of antibiotics yst. the cough's still bugging me, but i'll just wait and see how. med here is super ex!! i'm so tempted to cough my way back to sg...haha

anyway, despite my sickly self, i went for the mardi gras at hyde park over the wkend. my neighbour went down with me; she is still very intrigued by drag queens & the parade itself. we went there pretty early, but we got ourselves a pretty lousy spot cos of our ignorance. despite that, we managed to catch some of the floats that went pass and i got a lot of pics of the few drag queens who were parading pass us & posing for photos. hahaha...i'll def be turning up for it every yr!! sun was to the fish market-salmon sashimi, calamari, prawns etc, good food in general. but i din have much of a appetite compared to before. the food's great as usual, i should consider moving to the city, nearer to the live & hub & food!

sch's going at full force; doesn't feel like only 1 wk has past. i can't wait for it to end alr. math & stat is back to haunt me...all the nightmares i used to have about it is all coming back again!! argh...i shud do sth like chiropractic and escape from these stuff forever...haha...and the lecturers this sem seem to love exercise, the lect theatre's at the extreme end of the campus!! argh...of all places to choose from...oh ya, and i got this urge to go US or UK to study suddenly, esp US. i'm suddenly very drawn to the thot of studying in america...

finished watching hana kimi on one of the guy's computer yst...the ending was so abrupt & disappointing!! they have to re-do the ending, it's just left hanging there without any proper conclusion!! i really wish i could transport my cable internet from sg over here...wont' have to content with expensive & slow download speeds...but anyway, at least i got to finish it!!! yes, don't have to lug my laptop to use the stupid sch's slow internet (if not cos it's free...)...

a brief summary of everything so far...i'm actually feeling v broke alr, with the new tv and constant eating out...i can count the no of times i've been to the dining hall to eat so far...hopefully things will start getting more settled by this wk and i get more time to myself, esp to sleep!!! haha...
