last day of sch tdy!! hooray!!! actually, the holiday mood started yst alr! cos i dun have any impt classes tdy, and coincidentally, tdy happens to be conception day(founder's day in short) so all lessons are cancelled!! there's going to be a major party in uni tonight, a booze party i heard. the tix cost $5/$10 and you can party from 1pm till midnight...tt's a lot of drinking...
my hostel has decided to hop onto the alcohol wagon as well. alcoholic drinks will be served this MORNING from 9am-10.30am, entitled to 2 drinks per person. from 10.30am-1pm, they'll stop serving free alcoholic drinks, but we'll be allowed to bring our own alcoholic drinks in to drink thereafter. so basically, there'll be some alcohol-loving ppl who will be drinking from 9am-12midnight tonight if they can last the entire way!! the sound of it is crazy enuf...drinking the entire day away since the moment you wake up...imagine being drunk every waking minute...the hostel started playing music downstairs in the courtyard since 7am this morning...glorious morning call to a drink-happy day...this morning's the first time i saw so many angmohs coming down for breakfast at 7 in the morning...haha, wad an unusual sight!
the conception day t-shirt this yr is bright pink in colour!! a shocking addition to my small pink wardrobe collection...it only costs $5, and i could use it for pyjamas or as an inner layer under my jacket to uni...
there's a lot of wild parrots around uni campus...it's an entirely diff feeling to see them here and back in jurong bird park...you see them pecking on the ground (for worms?) and they're actually soaring in the air, less the majesticness of eagles. in addition, there're so many varieties of them ard...white, pink, yellow etc...i shud catch one for my pet and teach it how to speak english...haha, so fun!
tmr's the start of a 2 wk holiday...woah, i hope it'll be exciting...
the weather's been swinging back and forth as usual the entire wk...the beginning of the week, it felt like winter; gloomy days, incessant rain and chilly winds. towards the end of the wk, it's summer once more; hot and dry...
anyway, food here has been, well, usual fare. you won't find me in a bread shop anymore when i return to sg...haha...nor an ice-cream parlour or pastry cafe. i'm a converted sg local foodie now...haha...strawberries the only cheap thing now...i think there's an oversupply of it...it's really abundant and cheap! tt's the only good buy right now...
time for a gd break b4 plunging into assignments and tests preparations...
