first day of sch tdy...to summarize, it was a very slack day; i only had 1 lect-chinese! haha, the class was super small, less than 10 ppl, and i was one of the first few to arrive there!! lol...chinese lessons r well, boring as expected. i only realised tt this was a class for non-background speakers tdy!! i'm going to slack now...it was really a waste of time to go for lessons...during lesson, 1 guy came an hr late, another gal left aft 45 mins although class was supposed to last for 2 hrs...there's so much freedom, and the tutor doesn't mind. you juz tell him u gotta leave and he'll even cherrily bid you "goodbye" with a nice smile!! oh my, uni shock!! n another classmate told me tt some ppl only come for class tests and exams...i'm going to sign up for membership to tt club soon...lol...so now, while i'm supposed to have classes everyday, fri is going to be my day off!! lol....slack time...
my mum's returning to sg tmr...sigh...i dun wanna let her go...there'll be no one to keep me company or bring me sightseeing when she's gone...tdy we went to town again (for the umpteen time) aft my lesson cos she chanced upon this estee lauder advert in the newspaper. they were giving out this make up kit worth $174 for every purchase of $68; this offer's only valid at david jones dept store, located in town...so tt's where we headed. aft satisfying her womanly desires, we walked ard the CBD area for a bit...but since it's town, things weren't going to be priced affordably. however, woolworth's were selling their chocs at bargain prices, n i couldn't help buying quite a few for myself!! lol...die die die...i really need to exercise...
we went to eastwood aft tt n found this cheap dept store selling all sorts of stuff...aft picking up a few items to freshen up and decorate my dullish looking room, we went for dinner-wanton mee & char siew rice again!! lol...i nv fancied char siew rice back in sg, haven't eaten it in yrs and not missed it once. maybe it's the cold weather playing tricks on the stomach, the char siew rice here tastes superb! one plate, can cost up to $8 but they make up for it by giving a super huge portion!! we were so stuffed, we had to dapao the rest of the food...imagine 2 small women eating 2 huge plates of wanton mee & char siew rice...it's an impossible task to finish all the food...argh, another reason i need to exercise badly...
we're packing the room now...i was supposed to move into my hostel room last night, but i've been sleeping with my mum...with the added tv, ensuite bathroom and fridge facility, who would wan to move out of it so soon?? so ya, my last night in this room...sigh, i'll miss it, more the facilities within than the actual room itself...
hope my mum'll have a safe trip back to sg...

yay u've arrived! gimme a ring/sms when ur free :) And looks like I won't have to bring you around the city since u've been there so many times.
I actually live in hornsby which is really close to your uni. Though I go to sydney uni which is in the city.
Oh wanna meet sara (tan) and I for lunch this sunday after church? Probably in the city again hehe about 12?
