i went into JB on tue (again!!). i'm so in love with the pasar malam there, i might go in every tue juz for it! anw, this time, i went in with serene & her dad, to work!! haha...
we were at her dad's office, doing the simpler tasks like folding papers & counting doors & windows...it's boring, no doubt, but with the camera ard, we're never short of entertainment!!
This pic we took in the office aft we've finished folding 1 stack of papers. haha...we din wanna ask for more work aft tt, and took some pics to past time while counting down to lunch!!
aft lunch, we went back to the office, slacked ard a bit while waiting for the rain to stop. we headed to giant next door once the rain stopped...we shopped ard there for over 2 hrs, ate, drank, grocery shopping...haha...i won't like if work was like this everyday! by the time we got back with our bagfuls of snacks, it was 4.30 alr!! so we disciplined ourselves to do some work first b4 going to the pasar malam! we were really dedicated...by the time we finished all the tasks, it was 7pm...we rushed down to the pasar malam which was closing at 8pm. despite the limited time we had, we managed to return with handfuls of food!! literally, FOOD. we bought a lot of stuff, from fried to steam to fruits. haha...there was soya bean drink, malay kueh, chinese kueh, shui jian bao, muah chee, mee goreng, penang laksa, chee cheong fun, mee siam (my FAV!!), bananas & jackfruit (delicious!!).
a pic of me with all the food we bought!! it isn't as scary as it looks. haha, it's juz a little bit of food here & there spread out in a lot of plastic bags which makes it seem like a lot.
i think we might be going back in next tue again. her dad's colleagues are prob wondering why they only see us coming in on tue...hehe...
next wk, i'm going to buy all those food that was sold out this wk! more mee siam (it's damn nice!! i can finish 3 whole plates by myself!), rojak, kueh tiao, penang laksa from another stall & more jackfruit!! 2 words: food haven
