there's this soccer fever going at work right now, and all the chitter and chatter juz spices up the atmosphere. haha...i've been like a nomad at work, migrating from desk to desk from time to time. tdy was the most extreme. juz when i thot of compromising and sitting at the front desk while risking to take on customer service duty, the chair was missing from the moment i stepped into the office!! apparently, one of the temp staff claimed to be suffering from backache, so she "BORROWED" the chair...but when i went to ask for it back, everyone in the room denied any knowledge of wad i was going on abt. wad could i do? i can't'possibly point my finger at one of them: "eh you, i dun think tt chair belongs to you!! quick give it back!!"
anyway, back to the world cup...haha, i'm not much of a soccer fanatic myself, in fact, i've been stuck at the amateur stage ever since i got introduced to the game. when the last world cup came and ended, i remained separated from all the hype. however, this time round, things reversed. haha, i actually know some betting terms and rules now, though if i were to bet, it'll all be going by my gut feel, cos i've only heard of those few powernations which everyone else is famaliar with. but throw me costa rica and ukraine, and i can't tell who's the stronger of the 2. and dun bother asking me to name any of their players...
tmr's the med checkup, at paragon. haiz...i hope there won't be any unwanted surprises in store.
