yst was mother's day-another retailer's gimmick in an attempt to encourage consumerism. but anyway, me and my sis whopped up a huge meal for my mum. haha, tt was prob the largest meal she's had in a very long time, and she couldn't not swallow all the food. heh, she kept complimenting how great cooks we were thruout the meal k! haha, and i felt so paiseh to tell her tt it's because of luck and not good timing grasp tt's y the food's so tasty. won't be so lucky every time...

as u might be able to tell, i'm currently at work now. nothing much at hand, usually there aren't many walk ins aft lunch hour. my colleague brought me to eat beef noodles near fullerton there. it tasted quite gd, to me at least (she kept complaining tt tdy's food was below par), maybe cos it's something diff from the usual fare. so ya, here i am, juz back from lunch not too long ago.

my colleague commented during lunch tt i'm a v quiet person...haha, it can be true sometimes, esp when i've got nothing to go on abt, i'll juz keep really quiet. but when the silence becomes unbearable, like with some ppl who can be even quieter than me, i'lll juz rack my brains to rattle on and on and on. then the words will start gaining momentum and turn into nonsense aft a while. still beats silence anw.

anyway, think i'll try to watch my vcds now, dun wanna bring them to work in vain know!!
