haven't really had e time to come online to type out sth over e past few days...the past few days were juz packed with tuition, lots of tuition and studying...
haven't been to sch since wed...teacher's day celebration...i went there in expectation of getting a blue slip from ducro...fate is 1 thing you can't run away from...when i wanted to be nice and wish him 'happy teacher's day', in part for giving me tt blue slip, he himself wasn't in sch tt day!! if only he made an earlier announcement, e sun would be shining into my room b4 i'd get out of bed on wed!! it was a wasted trip back to sch, simply put. anyway, den, ck and i were juz mins late of e side gate's closing time, so it was back to basics: gate climbin and crawling. ck went back to sji which den and i went to ang mo kio...haha...to collect my SUPERSTAR tix!! i couldn't believe my luck too!! this is e 1st time i've act won sth, tt's so coveted by so many ppl, including me!! haha...i was juz trying my luck tt day while flipping thru some mag, and since it only cost $0.20, i juz gave it a shot...then on tues, they msged me to say i was 1 of e 10 chosen recipients!! i'd haf flown down of tues to get e tix if i only knew e way there and tuition aft sch was cancelled!! haha, but wed's not too late too!! e place was really hard to find!! luckily my mum brought me there, otherwise, i'd juz haf gotten lost with some taxi driver whom i'll nv get to meet now, in tiny sg, trying to find e place in vain!! i act contemplated selling my tix online to some die-hard fans who's willing to part with e cash...apparently, it can cost up to $500 per pair!! whoa, tt's half a k!! but anyway, i decided tt e experience is more valuable than e money i can get in return, so...
thurs...another exciting day...got my braces removed!! finally, aft so long, juz 2 mths shy of it's 2 yr anniversary, i parted with my metal teeth!! haha!! my mouth felt real empty aft tt...like it's grown swollen over e yrs!! haha...but it was so disgusting when e doc put this mould-plasticine thing into my mouth in order to custom-make my retainers for me...and he had to repeat it twice!! as if once isn't enuf...then it was a visit to e hairdresser!! haha...it's been eons since i cut my hair, and it's grown so long now, i'm at a lost as to how to style it; it can't stand, neither can it stay on its own. i forgot my hairdresser's name, but fortunately, i met her on my way to e toilet!! told her to give me 5 mins and i'll pay her a visit!! haha, heng ah:) told her to put extra wax, and she voluntarily added some hair spray, so tt my hair could last till tonight...she cut my hair real short this time, not tt i haf any objections...my hair looks e same aft i wake up, and aft styling...maybe i shudn't bother adding any wax at all...haha, wad can i say? i'm getting more handsome now!! lol:)
it was time to head down to sg indoors stadium aft tt!! tt's right!! to watch my superstar concert!! how exciting!! e tix printed e starting time as 6.30, but e doors din open till 7 plus. so senseless...me n den managed to catch a glimpse of a few stars while waiting for sesame to open...celest chong, joanne peh, ix shen, and a few others...finally when e doors opened, everyone was rushing in...we waited for e crowd to disperse b4 making our way in...aft our tix were torn, there was a station for security check...i was asked to leave my water bottle outside cos of 'safety' reasons?! aft tt, we went to buy 2 packs of mineral water to bring inside, figuring it was juz another business gimmick to ban us from bringing water inside so tt we're forced to purchase their drinks at exorbitant prices...but no, their silliness din end there! you were allowed to purchase drinks, but you couldn't bring it inside e stadium!! you had to finish e drinks b4 entering e seating arena!!! so we juz chucked e drinks inside den's pouch and walked straight in!! haha...need i say more? we're a natural when it comes to this alr, lol:) e atmosphere is so diff onscreen n live...though e breaks for advertisements were unbearable! and all i could see were these small ppl, cockroach-sized, singing and moving ard stage...xin hui n jun yang's performance was amazing!! e concert would be much betta if they were e competing finalists instead...but sadly, e curse of e judges appeared again last night...whoever e judges favoured more and paid more compliments to, tt person will lose...sigh..me n den sat on divided loyalites next to each other...she supported kelvin, i, e gal. but sadly, she lost!! sigh, sigh, sigh!
going home was as diff as i imagined it would be; i thot e buses would be packed to e brim we'd haf to end up walking to suntec to take e train!! haha...but we managed to squeeze on e 1st bus tt came our way...
fri: woke up early to get my retainers from e dentist...it's this transparent plastic thing moulded in e shape of my teeth...it's impossible to tell whether i'm wearing them or not unless u look hard enuf...but it forms this barrier in my mouth, not sth v comfortable. anyway, i'm stuck w it for 6 mths, unless i wan to rewear my braces again!! i'm not risking it!! haha...was supposed to mug with sab at holland v, but she din turn up in e end...i also dunno if i shud get angry?!
anyway, tdy was juz a really short day...tmr's e wkend alr, start of 1st day of hols..no more tuition for 2 more days! whew! thank goodness! time for bed now...i can hear breakfast calling for me alr!!
the slack one went to rest at 8:15 AM
