heh, thot i'd do some work tdy, but surprisingly, i din touch my file a single bit. n i dun feel guilty abt it, except for a slight conscience prick. haha, it's been such a long time since i've managed to breakaway from e burden of hw, e only-increasing-but-nv-decreasing pile of ws, n juz delete it from e mind, completely. i firmly believe tt there's some truth in: OUT of SIGHT, OUT of MIND!! applaude e genius who came up w tt phrase!! haha:)
played some badminton in e morn, cos i really felt out of touch w e game...it's been ages since i last held a badminton racket in my hand, or act had e chance to whack e shuttlecock!! miss e good ole feeling of connecting w e sport. aft e game, while i was changing, i realised i forgot to bring my deodourant!! imagine my shock la! haha, luckily no one complained abt any foul odour, or at least pretended not to smell anything, lol. otherwise, i'd be so embarassed...
had a long eventful day aft tt, juz idling ard, doing nothing. my hand firmly grasped onto e times mag, but it took e whole aft, n evening for me to complete e featured article on e new pope. e further i read, my admiration for him started diminishing. perhaps it's e way e article was wrote. it portrayed e pope out to be a scheming old man, who worked his way into e post of e pope. he managed to turn things ard in his favour, from e unchosen candidate, to e popular choice. he manipulated e cardinals n was ultimately, e chosen one. from my pt of view, politics played in e religious world shud nv be disclosed, or it'll be dirty linen hanging in public, waitin for e criticisms of others to be thrown at it. it's disgraceful how he turned tables on his opposition cardinals, n evolved as e one n only choice. like e author wrote, a fair election is when e cardinals are divided between 2 candidates; n an unfair one is where e cardinals favour one candidate n lopsided votes are cast, which is e case for e new pope. it's so true, he was e undisputed successor to e 'throne'. but i guess it's too late now, cos everything's been confirmed alr. i juz hope tt he'll do a gd job, n not bring down e name of e church e previous pope took so long to built. pray tt he'll fulfill his duties well, n juz live up to e expectations of e Catholics population worldwide. kk, enuf abt e religious stuff, i'm not much of a devotee myself, so betta not say too much...
anw, juz glad i managed to take a breather during this mayday hols...went to a place i haven't been in a long while...n this reminds me, i shud get more puzzles for you to solve...haha, if u can solve it, tt means u're getting smarter; n if u can't, haha, keep trying till u get it then!!
1 last thing, juz hope tt ur leg'll recover soon enuf, n e swelling will subside, so tt it won't look like pig trotters anymore...haha, kk, juz pray tt it'll heal soon, so tt u can play on e pitch again b4 e season ends...i know how much this means to u...but dun push urself too hard k. know ur limits, n stop when necessary ya?!
many ppl spend money they haven't earned, buy things they don't want, and dress to impress those they don't like!
