the much awaited prom is finally over...haiz, i feel a sudden sense of emptiness inside...when it shud haf been that way aft my As instead...
it was not much effort to make myself sleep in yst so as to reduce my eyebags...but it din help much...met den to do our hair first at btp...the hairdresser was real efficient; it took her only 30 mins or so to get my hair done...haha...though it din turn out the way i wanted it to be...it was passable...den was still doing her hair when i left to do my make up...it was really scary when the person did my make up for me, cos the mirror wasn't facing my direction, so i couldn't monitor the progress of her masterpiece...until now, i can't really tell if my make up artiste is a gal/guy...i'm more for the latter...maybe a transsexual...but who cares, she's super professional...i juz sat there like a guinea while she doused layers n layers of powder and other funny chemicals on my face, esp ard my eyes...she spent 70% of the time doing the eye area!! haha...prob to cover up the eyebags-she did a fantastic job, i no longer look sleep deficient-she looked so exhausted by the time she was done, lol:) i expected her to take at least an hr n a half to get e make up done, but she was done in less than an hr...haha...anyway, she did a great job!!
aft tt, went down to swissotel to meet den n ck...it was still pretty early when we got the room, so we juz idled for a while b4 changing into our dresses...it was nearly 6 when ck got an emergency call...daph, cheryl n nooshi came over shortly to change into their gowns...haha...aft being in the same sch for so long, this is e 1st time i've act had such close contact with them...they're super funny...cheryl kept whining abt her chick-lookalike appearance.
although we went down half an hr late, everyone else was late too!! haha...everyone looked diff in their new outfits, made up face n hair...there was a lucky draw thru the dinner...den had lady luck to thank for her biotherm packet she won...haha...overall, i had more fun this time round than i did during sec 4...though i took much much much lesser pics this time round...there wasn't enuf time to go ard n find e ppl i wan to take pics with!!
e 3 gals went upstairs to the room for an outfit change when e dinner ended...haha...it was party time!! i thot the club would be filled with njcians...but we turned out to be the minority...haha...cos we were lazy to bring our ics, we could only drink non-alcoholic drinks...haha...it was a whole new experience...i'm half-deaf now, and my lungs haf prob started turning black...but though we had fun at e dance floor, we couldn't totally enjoy ourselves cos we were always had to be on our guard against any potential hazards...ck was super busy last night, wriggling here n there protecting all the gals...haha...lucky there were quite a few nj guys ard to protect us!! we left when the pub closed, it was nearly 3am by then...
being the nice ppl tt we are, we decided to take in this guy, double k...haha, i can't rmb his real name alr...he was den's ex-gp mate, and fel's friend's friend. let's juz call fel's fren bhb, cos he really lives up to it. he is the first, ultimate, one-n-only person i've met who's so thick skinned!!! i've never ever met someone as bu yao lian as him. not trying to insult ur fren here fel...but tt bhb, he first drank a lot of drinks, though fel told him not to drink too much...then he came up with a GODZILLION excuses to invite himself to our room, though we made it crystal clear tt he's no wanted!! 1st, he pretended to be drunk, then he told fel he forgot his keys...aft tt, he claimed he wanted to stick with double k thruout the night, and evn wanted to go upstairs to see if there's any extra space for him to slp...if we let tt happen, we can dream of making him leave aft tt...wad's his prob seriously?? doesn't he get the hint tt we dun wan him ard?! he has a home to go to, while double k doesn't. so juz give his parents a call to get them to open the door...finally, aft much acting, nagging, whinning, he finally surrendered n went to pradeep's room to slp!! whew!!!
it was crazy waiting to wash up, cos there was only 1 toilet for the 5 of us to share...by the time we all washed up n finished playing bridge...it was pretty late...for some reason, we all either had no watch or din pay any attention to it...when we all got ready to turn in, it was 6.20am in the morn!! haha...i can still rmb how shocked the 2 gals sounded when they heard the time!! lol...i was pretty amazed too tt we all managed to stay up till so late...haha, but somehow, den couldn't fall asleep, and she's real gd at keeping everyone else awake too...we started toking abt ck cos we thot he was asleep...then he suddenly made noise n we couldn't stop laughing aft tt!! lol...
a few hrs later, they all woke up alr...i din evn get the chance to slp in peace..haha...we packed our bags n checked out, b4 gng to wisma for lunch...they were playing pool halfway when my mum called to say she was in town, so went off to meet her...haha...juz woke up not too long ago from a afternoon nap?? haha...i'll prob juz plop off to bed aft this...
it was a choice i made tt sometimes i come to regret now. but this stubborness within me tells me tt it was a right choice cos of wad's happening now...
the slack one went to rest at 5:02 AM
