e 1st wk of hols is almost over, n so far, my revision stands at an alarming 0!! i haven't touched or looked thru any of my worksheets at all!! no sense of remorse setting in yet though...haha...yest was spa, followed by e zhenghua pri camp.
we decided to skip chem remedial cos e camp ic was calling us down to e site alr...guess they were really shorthanded, so yup, we din turn up for chem make-up aft all...went back home to bathe first b4 heading for zhenghua. haha, at my house, fel had to help me pack my bag, so tt we could quickly make our way down, plus she helped to pack my room cos she simply couldn't stand e mess any longer!! haha, i shud haf her at my house more often...hehe...
i got transferred to a floating assistant ic to a station master!! oh man...got stuck at e hockey field, in charge of this game called "animal minefield". my partner was maxine...haha, she really loves kids...every action e kids made tickled her non-stop...haha, but our station was pretty slack, we had lots of breaks...aft tt, while i was halfway thru dinner, i got called up to e hall to prepare for e nightwalk!! i din even haf time to finish my food, nor spray insect repellent on myself b4 setting off!! got partnered with 2 J1s at e construction site!! oh man, of all places...can't help but feel tt construction sites are v scary, esp at night...plus e 3 of us were equally timid...din even wait for half e group to pass b4 joining in..haha...rather see e kids trip n fall over e stones than stay behind n warn them abt it!! haha...e 2 J1s abandoned me almost immediately when they saw e group, n i was left there, ALONE!! oh goodness!! haha...luckily, ck, fel, n den came shortly aft...e walk lasted over an hr...such a long walk...almost 4 km long!! e kids were all tired out by e time we reached back in school...so were we!!
haha, aft e walk, we were so tired n sticky, n so desperately needed a place to bathe, we decided to go fel's house to wash up, n slp for e night, b4 returning e next morn...fel's dad came to pick e 3 of us back home...alvin toh came along too...juz realised tt we've been seeing him v frequently these days...lol:) aft we were all cleaned up n had our supper, we sat down to watch this korean movie n play bridge...fel kept getting partnered w toh, while me n den kept getting paired up...haha, n e best part was, my pairing w den kept winning, while fel n toh kept losing!! haha...finally, when e movie ended, we thot we'd all go turn in...but when i washed up, i felt more awake than ever!! so i decided to entertain myself, by keeping den awake too!! haha, started jumping n pouncing on her...tickling her to keep her awake...it was like a mini WWF going on in e room...lol...it was v fun for me, but i doubt she enjoyed it as much as i did!! haha...finally, we let her go to slp...n amongst e 4 of us, only she managed to slp...me, fel n toh couldn't drift off to dreamland!! woke up at 5 e next morn...haha, den's left eye was swollen, despite her wearing specs...i had to be blamed for tt...haha...
when we arrived at e camp, we idled ard, waiting for instructions to be given...finally, at abt 7 plus, there was a meeting called at e hall...instruction was: go down n haf breakfast, n we are dismissed!! oh man...can u believe my agony?!! i've nv been awake b4 7am since i dunno when, n i bet tt's e case for them too...n i specially woke up early this morn, only to be told to haf breakfast n go home!! so aft we had our breakfast, we went back to fel's home to...SLEEP!! haha...slept till almost 12 noon, until e queen could not slp anymore...so we all got woken up...had pizza, n watched another vcd together b4 leaving...juz boarded e bus when i realised tt i left my wallet at fel's house...had to go back to retrieve it, which was juz as well, cos e queen wanted to go back n relieve her bowels...haha, she's been constipated for 2 days alr, which is alarming by her standards...went back w den to her house aftward...it was an exceptionally long walk back to her house, much longer than it would haf normally been...
super super tired now, surviving purely on adrenaline at e moment, haha...but camp was great...e overnight stay too!! haha...bet i had e most fun last night...bleh...we shud do it more often...snatch pillows, bolsters n blankets at fel's hse again...
