    ran into e downpour while cycling at east coast this morn...such luck...i was all e way at e opp end of east coast when e rain started fallin down...cycled all e way back to e kiosk in e rain...ended up totally drenched...hungry n cold...a real pathetic state...but there is some joy in riding in e rain as well...there's no one at all to block ur path, n u can juz ride along e road, like ur grandfather own's it...staring at those seeking shelter, u feel as though they're such cowards who can't take a simple rain, n chose e weaker alternative of escaping e rain...haha, such an ego-booster...but it was no easy ride back...e winds by e sea were extremely strong...u practically had to cycle against it...it was almost a head-on collision with e wind, if u dun keep on going, u'll juz get blown away!! my hat almost flew away on a couple of occasions...all e twigs n leaves were flying towards me n scratched my arms...e raindrops were piercing, every single drop felt like a needle pricking against ur skin...but it was a fun ride...maybe i shud do it more often...haha:)
    had a very comfortable evening...turned up half an hr later than e meeting time...felt so bad abt making her wait for me...treated her to crystal jade la mian as her congratulatory dinner, haha, kept to my word like i said i would...headed off to CFB aftward...pigged out on 1 pint of haagen daaz ice-cream...haha, e waiter at haagen daaz muz haf been so surprised when we told him to squeeze 4 flavours into 1 pint...but haagen daaz is still e best!! think they dropped their prices...in e past, it used to cost $14.90 for a pint, not its $2 cheaper, though it's not much...haha, but now got more incentive to spend money there...haha, din spend a cent at CFB, juz redeemed a free coffee n stuck with tt order for e rest of e evening...had another 3 scoops of...haagen daaz ice-cream again b4 leaving for home...haha, din like e taste of gelare ice-cream, din suit me...n since i was paying, haha, i decided e brand...can't believe how fast she slipped e ice-cream cup into e bag while we were running for e bus...hehe...she's pro man...then we ended up eating it openly in e bus...haha, hopefully there's no one ard who's armed with a camera to snap our pic n send to sharon phua!! lol:)
